The room is lovely, and spotlessly clean. There is a private balcony at the back and a shared veranda at the front. There is also a veranda seating area with amazing views of the castle. Joana is a wonderful host and she went above and beyond to make our stay perfect 👌. The walk to the bazaar and castle is approximately 10 mins . If you are arriving by car joana sends a video to help you find the property.

The hotel is great, the rooms are spacious and beautifully decorated, with lots of attention to details! One could tell that the owners have put much love into this place. They are lovely people, who helped us with all of our requests and beyond. Recommended to anyone, you will not regret it!

Best view of Gjirokaster! The room, the swimming pool, the restaurant, everything was perfect! The staff was very nice, they came pick us up at the entrance of the city.

We stayed for one day and had a wonderful experience. The host and her family were extremely kind and welcoming. She greeted us with a drink and cheese upon our arrival, which was such a thoughtful gesture. The house was very clean, the bed was comfortable, and it had everything we needed and more. I highly recommend staying here!

Very cute place with homegrown veggies right next to the house. Very calm and relaxing. If you travel by car this is the perfect location in Gjirokaster. The landlord and his wife are super friendly and make a very authentic Albanian experience. On request you can experience a traditional dinner made of longstanding family recipes prepared with what is grown around the property.

Everything was wonderful – the place was spotlessly clean, and the rooms were extremely spacious, bright, and beautiful. Breakfast was also very good.

Great value for money. I pais 35 eur for one night with breakfast included. Great location next to the bazaar. From the bus terminal you can take a taxi for 400LEK to the old town. Payment can be done by card but not with a contactless option as they claim that their terminal is not working contactless.

We had a lovely breakfast in the garden with mountain herb tea, an egg and other vegetables from their garden. The young girls were extremely helpful. A very reasonable price for breakfast and accommodation.

Our stay at Joanna & Matteo villa was expceptional. Mila is the sweetest host we have ever met. She is kind, generous, attentive and has a beautiful heart. She welcomed us at the villa as if it was our home for the few days we were there, and it really did feel like home. Moreover, she serves the best breakfasts every morning, with fresh figs from her backyard tree, absolutely delicious. The place is well located, a little bit outside of the center, making it absolutely peaceful. The views on the mountains are mesmerizing and the main area is beautiful and well maintained. If we ever come back to Saranda, we would definitely come to Mila's place again, so should you ! Only positive things to say Thank you for everything xxox (For Mila : we hope you got the keys, we don't have a phone to call you :( )
