We stayed at Casa Saimiri for the second time – this time again with our three children – and it was just as amazing as we remembered! The pousada is beautifully designed, peaceful, and very clean. It’s located in a quiet area but still just a short walk from the stunning Ilha do Amor. Our room was very comfortable, and the hammocks in the courtyard were perfect for relaxing. Breakfast was delicious and lovingly prepared each day – a real highlight. Most of all, we appreciated the warm hospitality: Amanda and the entire team were always helpful and provided great recommendations for tours and restaurants. If you’re looking for a stylish, relaxed, and family-friendly place to stay in Alter do Chão, Casa Saimiri is the perfect choice. We’d come back anytime!

The place is an absolute dream!! The pictures are accurate, the room was amszing, the service was exceptional, and the food was delicious!! The place is tucked away further from the beach which some may not like but we loved since we got to see monkeys!!
