Sachseln is a lovely location, even for gloomy winter days. The hotel was spotless, warm and cozy. The mattresses were very good. The breakfast was generous with eggs, bacon, yoghurt, cheeses, croissants etc! I also liked the ability to check in using an automated screen since I arrived late. The staff were also polite and I was able to hang out at the lobby for a few hours on my departure date to get some work done.

We had a wonderful stay at Villa Wilen. The location is stunning with beautiful views, the house is very well equipped and comfortable. Everything was perfectly clean and the welcome was warm. An ideal place to relax and enjoy the region. We would be happy to come back!

This was the last leg of our week of Swiss Travel Pass train trips specifically to visit the Kloster Sarnen. After six days of crowded tourist destinations, Sarnen was a welcomed place to rest and recuperate. Hotel Metzgern was a genuine oasis. Close to the Train Station, extremely friendly staff, excellent restaurant and food and by far the nicest place we stayed on our journey. The bathroom and spa bath in the Panorama Suite has to be seen to be believed. LED lighting in the tiles made for such a romantic and relaxing atmosphere to wash away the travel aches and pains. As far as accommodation is concerned this was the highlight of our trip.

Located opposite the train station in the peaceful town of Giswil, Hotel Bahnhof is just a 20-minute walk from Lake Sarnen. It features a restaurant and a large garden.

This hotel seems to be the hub of Giswil. The restaurant was busy both nights. There's a children's playground, & the cutest chickens running around . Location - across the road from the station Very friendly staff I was in a large room in the annex behind the main building

All was exceptional, Kempinsky Hotel will surely see us again soon. However the one problem we had, was the problem with the double bed in our room that was disappointing. It is 2 single beds moved together ( terrible) it was however resolved with additional bedding and was slightly more comfortable.It would be good if double beds can be supplied and not single beds just moved together. Furthermore your hotel is one of the best hotels we have stayed in. Thank you and your staff was brilliant.
