The property was beautiful and relaxing. The pool is perfect for the times we didn't swim in the sea. The staff was very friendly and accommodating and the food and drinks provided were delicious and reasonably priced. Good pressure and hot water if needed in the shower! Would definitely stay again!

The owners and the staff are so welcoming and helpful. The air conditioned room was excellent value and we had a double bed each. We had a very peaceful and relaxing stay and it is only a short walk to the beach. We very much recommend a stay here. Also the owner very kindly offered us a lift to Santa Marta on the day we were leaving as he was going there that day. 😀

Hotel Chiniu ("Hummingbird", in English) is a little peace of paradise on earth! The setting, amongst beautifully-tended gardens and tall coconut trees is a haven for relaxation and the two pools are spotless. The staff are marvellous and very welcoming, and the restaurant food delicious (try the Caldo de Verduras and the Placer Caribeño!).

Offering views of the mountain, Posada Gallinas is set in Palomino and near the beach. It features a central garden. Rooms have a private bathroom.

very good location, between main road and beach,not in the center where all the bars and cafes are so we didnt have noise from the music..the rooms are practical with refrigirator,fans and mosquito net, private bathroom and shower and have a private back yard with lounge and kitchen with everything you need to cook and make coffee..feels like home

Wow!! We stayed in the apartment. It was exceptionally clean. The facilities are fantastic. The building is beautiful and reasonably cool at night. We loved the private outdoor bathroom and kitchen. The garden is lush and full of trees, beautiful! Oscar, the host, is lovely and helpful. We would 100% stay here again!
