Wonderful, peaceful, friendly sanctuary. Beautiful location on the bank of the river. Rooms are lovely and very clean. The restoration of the building is of very high quality with great attention to detail. Wifi is super fast. There are beautiful walks around the area, all the way to the neighbouring town Kelheim. There is even a ferryman who takes you to the other side of the river for 2 euros! Resturant has excellent food and is well priced in my opinion. There is a brewery in the monastery and the Barock Dunkel beer is particularly delicious. When coming back from my walk, a monk stopped and helped us with directions, very friendly and so nice. I originally booked two nights but ended up staying for three.

The room size and cleanliness. The TV and the fact that the toilet and shower were separated. The free drinks was thoughtful and the breakfast was just so awesome and the choices excellent.

The kitchen should be closed when we arrived but the owner offered to prepare a salad in advance. As we arrived the kitchen was closing but we still could get a schnitzel freshly made.

Spacious modern and very clean. Staff were good and we had a secure place to store our bicycles. Good breakfast as well.
