The staff were lovely. Vicky and Holly were particularly great. Vicky even went out to buy my mum special tea after her long shift. Breakfast was great. The pool was lovely…. Great that there was a kid free session. Loved the fact that people could bring there’re dogs along.

It was our second time back at Battlestead’s and it lived up to our previous memories of it and we loved staying in the luxury rooms which are private and give you a fabulous view of the stars from the deck outside . On arrival, the receptionist quickly checked us in and showed us to our room. This was not in the main building but across the road. The room was warm, fully stocked with treats and homely with all mod cons. Breakfast was served in the main building and up some fairly steep stairs. It was a buffet style with hot food to order. Staff were very helpful and went the extra mile.
