A beautiful, historic building of stunning architecture. Despite it being a chilly day and the property being enormous, it was lovely and warm inside. The room was large, beautifully furnished and comfortable. All the staff was friendly, helpful and efficient I couldn’t fault our stay and can not understand the negative reviews I read prior to our stay. The food was excellent, we enjoyed breakfast, lunch and dinner and all were of a really high quality. I also enjoyed a wonderful massage with Connie who was lovely.

spectacular country setting gardens and pool area immacutely maintained. First Class extras and somebody on hand with a huge smile and predisposition to solve everything, great feeling to open your bedroom door and be able to jump into the outdoor heated pool and sit on the sunloungers with sun umbrellas and read. A fantastic stay at the most fantastic, picturesque location! What a charming hotel, located in the heart of picture-perfect English village. The hotel itself is well maintained, with a beautiful patio area and formal garden. The staff was very friendly - we felt welcome. Rooms are very nice, spacious enough and very clean. Amenities are good, including personal touches. Bathroom was spacious and clean as well. We had a room overlooking the patio, which was quiet. Beds were very goods - as well as the two cushions. Food was excellent; traditional English cuisine, very well made and fresh. Breakfast (partially à la carte) was very tasy. Wifi was good. We will for sure come back.
