Everything, for someone who spends alot of time in hotels and other sorts of accommodation this is right up there with the best. We was even shown around their farm. Great stay

The lodge was huge! Much bigger than anticipated, which meant our stay was more comfortable our group weren't treading on eachothers toes. It was clean, really well equipped and the hot tub was fab. We ate a delicious breakfast in the hotel the morning after our stay, which is by far one of the most comfortable. The beds were super comfy.

Anchor House was a perfect place for our 2 night stay in Alford. Paul and Nicky were warm, welcoming, friendly hosts and we felt at home from the start. Paul was great to communicate with prior to arriving and very helpful with eating/ drinking suggestions in town. We arrived quite late and got take away Chinese food which Paul invited us to bring back to the BnB to eat in the breakfast room where he had set a table and warmed plates for us. The room was cosy, clean and comfortable with attractive decor and lovely modern bathroom. The full English breakfast ( included in the room rate) provided lots of choice and was delicious. The property was located within a few minutes walk to all the town offers and we would thoroughly recommend it. Thank you Paul and Nicky!

This beautiful establishement is a credit to its owners. The room was comfortable and beautifully decorated as was the whole establishment. It is located in a quiet country lane. The restuarant was open for dinner and we dined there, service and the meal were exeptional for both dinner and breakfast.
