The place exceeded all our expectations! It is a fantastic and secluded location with views over local rice fields on both sides and mountains in the background. There are even some beautiful sunsets. The cabin is also almost new, and everything worked flawlessly. It was wonderful to have both an outdoor shower and an indoor bathroom. The host Ripa really deserves praise. He did everything to make us feel welcome and helped with renting a scooter, finding exciting places to visit in the area, and even the possibility of getting a massage almost right next to the cabin. You really get value for your money here, and we could easily have stayed longer than 5 nights. Both the cabin, the view, and the area are incredibly beautiful with few tourists, allowing you to get close to the local life. We hope to return another time. Thank you for the stay and an unforgettable experience!

I love the quiet and peaceful location away from the busy Ubud Center. A great location to explore more of Tegallalang and Kintamani to see the majestic Mount Batur. My room comes with a lush green valley view and a private pool. There was a good selection of ala carte Breakfast. We had Mie Goreng and Croissant with Egg Mayo, which was really good. They also serves lunch and dinner surprisingly. There is also spa and gym facilities. Dewi at the front office was exceptionally friendly and helpful. Overall I had a relaxing and enjoyable stay. Will definitely come back again.

Akohara Buahan is truly the best hotel I’ve ever stayed in. The staff were extremely welcoming, charming, and helpful in every possible way. The location deep in the jungle makes you feel completely cut off from the world, like living inside a Studio Ghibli movie. Our private infinity pool, the unique cable-car-style lift, and the modern room technology were all beyond amazing. The details made everything feel magical from the twice-a-day room cleaning (they even set up the bug net around the bed like a fairytale canopy), to the free mini fridge, teas, and thoughtful touches everywhere. The spa was incredible, with the most breathtaking jungle view, and the yoga space plus mats in the room were such a perfect addition for relaxation. There are also many activities offered, and each day brings something different to try, so there’s always something new to enjoy. The WhatsApp service made everything so easy, and the restaurant was superb. The whole experience felt unreal and unforgettable.
