A superb quiet location with amazing views from out apartment and the restaurant. The meals at the restaurant were lovely. daily menu and you just choose to take it or leave it. We ate there 3 days and each time the food was amazing, accompanied by gorgeous Chianti wine, I Recommend the Bichi Borghesi. This is family run and everyone was so warm, friendly and welcoming. They even tolerated my attempts at speaking Italian.

Villa Mucellena is a must if you want to visit Tuscany. We stayed there for three nights on our road trip through Italy and we were so amazed by the experience that we came back at the end of our trip to spend there our last three nights. Viola is the best host you can imagine. She is friendly, responsive and always happy to give us some good local recommendations. If you go there, definitely do not miss out on booking a dinner, if she makes one. Even better than most of the restaurants we visited. She also offers a cooking class where we learned how we could take a small piece of Tuscany with us back home. Truly a great experience we will surely make again next year!

Great place to visit Siena and surrounds. We used it as a base for watching Strade Bianche and cycling the associated Gran Fondo. The property is perfectly and conveniently located and at the same time slightly tucked away to provide a real countryside experience. The hosts are super friendly and really helpful. It is really worth trying their own olive oil and different wines. We enjoyed our stay and would really recommend it to anyone.
