Very well equipped hotel. Offer ice cream and nice place for onsen..room was very clean.

Nice big rooms, good strong Aircon and plenty of parking. Only a short drive from restaurants and supermarket.

The view. The room unit arrangement is perfect. Really hi-end camping experience. The unit is very bis. Complete with latest appiances. The best point is the Mt Fuji view. Perfect. The environment is so quite and unforgettable memories for me.

The host was accommodating, the temperature of the apartment was nice even when it’s cold outside, toilet seat warmer. Kitchen was nice to cook. Location is easy to find as per host instructions. Mount Fuji view room 501👍👍👍

We arrived at the hotel on the complimentary shuttle bus from Gotemba which was super easy to arrange over email. We had a Fuji view from our room which stunning when it wasn't raining. The onsen was perfect especially the outdoor area that looks over Fiji. The staff were so attentive and professional and helped with my golf booking at the club round the corner. The breakfast was amazing and the Japanese restaurant, Robata Oyama, was stunning and one of the best dining experiences I've had.

Wonderful ryokan with spacious rooms, tatami area and most importantly a private onsen. The breakfast and dinner are truly culinary experiences. Located close to the bus stop and with a mini market close by.

Our stay at Hakone Kowakien Ten-yu was magical. The hotel is surrounded by nature, therefore it has a relaxing atmosphere. The hotel staff was super professional and welcoming which made our stay even better. A concert took place in the lobby which we attended one night and we enjoyed it a lot! In the lobby, they have free drinks, sparkling wine and even a vending machine which provides free ice cream. We thoroughly enjoyed the feet bath on the balcony while gazing the mountains. And our room was magical! The beds, the tatami floor, the bathroom, everything was perfect! Watching the sunrise, rain, and fog settling down on the mountains was spectacular! Even better, watching it from the bathtub on the balcony! The hotel has a beautiful garden with illuminated lights and even a waterfall which provides an astonishing experience at night. One day, there was heavy rain so we decided to stay in and enjoy the facilities within the hotel itself. This turned out to be the best decision! Kowakien Ten-Yu, has a connection with a neighbouring hotel, Hakone Kowakien Yunessun, which offers a spa theme park, which we could enjoy freely due to our stay at Ten-Yu. Not to mention, you do not even need to leave the hotel premises for shopping! There's a FamilyMart within Hakone Kowakien Yunesson! Simply amazing! I haven't mentioned the amazing onsens yet! On our first night, I tried out the hotel's infinity onsen. It was my first onsen experience and probably the best. Looking at the mountains and clear sky at night is such a relaxing experience. The sunrise must be breathtaking! Lastly, the breakfast. The selection of food, drinks and the quality of service is superb. Overall, this is our best hotel experience so far. We would gladly visit again.
