Incredible experience; the meal served by the monks was one of the best meals of our month long trip to Japan. Was invited to sit in on the morning ceremony which was a unique and memorable moment.

The house is absolutely spectacular and I recommend brining food and cooking dinner/breakfast there. It was extremely peaceful and great for big groups/families. The host was extremely friendly and checked in on us.
