The breakfast buffet was the best we have had during our trip in Japan. Many options, from Asian to Western. The room and bathroom were also quite big and modern. The location was also good, a 20-minute walk to Kumamoto castle and there is a nearby bus station where a direct bus departures to the Aso Volcano. Also only a few minutes walking distance from the shopping street with many bars and restaurants.

Excellent location, located in the city centre with the shopping street down stairs, loads of restaurants and shops. Bus stop to the Airport is just opposite. Room is clean, spacious, facilities are very good. Staff are very friendly and helpful.

Hotel is rather new so the room and facilities are pretty good. Room is spacious for Japanese standard. Location is great as it's 5 mins walk from tram stop and right next to major shopping strip.

Location is great, next to Kumamoto station but in a quieter corner. Very close to Toyota rental car, so very convenient if you plan to rent a car there (just across the street. The room was comfortable. I particularly like the sofa by the window. The reception/ lounge was also very cozy and welcoming.
