It was clean and I think that was the best dormatory as hotel, that I have ever seen. Overall it was very well organised.

Location!! It's right next to the canal. You can see the pine trees and the ocean just outside the entrance. Very quiet at night, and we really enjoyed our morning walking on the beach. The closest supermarket is on the other side of Amanohashidate, so we took the ferry to do our grocery shopping (what a unique experience, haha). Accommodation is new and clean, has everything we needed for a few days' stay, kitchen, huge bathroom, separate toilet and washing machine with dryer function.

Hotel Kitanoya offers rooms with ocean views just a 6-minute walk from Amanohashidate Train Station. It boasts hot-spring baths and a Japanese restaurant.

The room was very spacious and luxurious. Get to experience a nice Tatami futon sleep. The view is nice too.

I recommend staying in the Japanese style family room with a sea view. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The public bath was also enjoyable.
