The hotel is extremely close to Mishima JR Station, and there are several restaurants and bars around it. It is a good spot for you to take buses to other touristic locations in the region. The breakfast was really good, with a great variety of Japanese side dishes for you to have with rice and also several "ocidental" options.

Amazing hotel if you with to stay at a Ryokan. Great location and the room with lake view and Mount Fuji view was breathtaking. To see Mount Fuji with the sunrise was sensational. Also the Onsen was lovely. Sitting outside in a hot pool looking to Fuji san was very relaxing. Loved it. Food was also very high standard. Staff helpful and kind.

Hotel is located near the ferry and ropeway, which makes it easy to access even though it's on the most remote side of the lake (we arrived via the ropeway, and left via the ferry). Dinner/breakfast buffets are well furnished, and you'll definitely find something you'll like. There's also an all-you-can-drink bar during dinner, which is nice if you want to try out some Japanese liquors/drinks. The hotel's onsen is very cozy, and I'd definitely recommend going before/after dinner, as it's very peaceful when the sun has set and the lights are dimmed. We had a private hot bath in our room, which was spacious enough to fit the two of us, although in a seating position only. Staff is nice and helpful, and speak english sufficiently well that we had no issue understanding each other.
