Breakfast was not included in the room price, which was fine with me. Instead, there is a well-stocked "pantry" where guests can choose what they want to eat and pay for items individually. Great option for those who do want to eat before heading out for the day.

Good location. Friendly staff.

A private balcony with views of Lake Superior are featured in every room at this waterfront Tofte hotel. It is located on the edge of Superior National Forest.

The motel has been remodeled since my last stay. I loved the knotty pine interiors which give it more of a north woods feel. The sun room area is nice and we were surprised by the breakfast goodies(although very limited).
