The rooms are very comfortable with lots of storage space, iron table, spacious bathroom with separate shower room and toilet. The room service is excellent. They come morning and evening. Breakfast is outstanding and dinner too. No need for leaving the premises. The staff is very helpful and friendly. The golf course is fantastic.

We stayed here as a group ahead of a wedding. We all felt very safe and secure. Alan and the staff provided a very homely feel and were super attentive and couldn’t do more for us. Beautiful location. Clean rooms and very good facilities well equipped with everything we needed.

We came all the way from Norway to stay at the guesthouse of our favorite wine maker Elgin Vintners! Everything was exceptional; the house, facilities, the staff and of course the fabulous wine. We were so lucky to get a tasting with the wine maker himself. Can't recommend enough, you have to go!

We celebrated our 20th wedding anniversary. We spent our first night at Houw Hoek 20 years ago. This time we were spoilt by the catering staff with chocolate writing on our desert plates wishing us a happy anniversary. All staff were friendly and helpful
