We loved the setting that is outside of the hustle of the city. It's very peaceful and a great place to unwind after a day of sightseeing and exploring the neighborhood. The unit is spacious, well appointed and everything one can ask for when staying for a longer period of time. The host is very responsive and immediately answered any questions we had. This place is a true gem if you want to experience the lovely country side. It is outside of the nearest town, Hapert, but we were able to walk to the stores in good weather, or it's a 5 minute drive to the nearest supermarket. Each room has its own shower and basin and on each of the two floors is a shared toilet. It was very good to have one bedroom on the ground floor, and we were able to navigate my daughter's wheelchair easily in the space. We will definitely book this property again in the future!

Such a lovely hotel in a beautiful building. We had a sauna in our room which I was not expecting, it was very nice! The breakfast was excellent, lots of home made things to try. The owner was very friendly. There’s also a very nice lounge to have a drink and the garden looks beautiful for when the weather suits.

Hotel De Maretak features a garden, shared lounge, a terrace and restaurant in Dilsen-Stokkem. I had the most delightful stay at the Hotel De Maretak. It has only a few rooms, which gives it the charm of a bed and breakfast. The building's architecture and the attention to detail in the decor both outside and inside continually captured my attention. The dining room is especially gorgeous. My room was average in size but comfortable and quiet. Most impressive was the evening dinner, which was worthy of a multiple-star restaurant. The owners could not do enough for me. They are amazing. I recommend this hotel very highly. If you have the chance to stay here, you should DEFINITELY take it.
