Alpha Hotel is located in the centre of Tienen, within 5 minutes’ walking from the Tienen trainstation. It features 17 compact rooms 4 deluxe apartments with flat-screen TV and free WiFi. The appartement was very clean, the beds where comfortable and the host was ready to help us with anything we needed.

The place is located outside of the village and therefore very quiet. Easy to reach, though, and a lot of space to park the car. It must be beautiful in summertime. The garden has possibilities to sit outside, and all is very well kept. The breakfast was very nicely arranged with organic bread, fruits, freshly made eggs, and good coffee. Mostly we enjoyed the nice building and modern interior of the rooms. It is everywhere outstandingly clean!

Offering a garden and quiet street view, B&B Den Biesthoek is located in Grimbergen, 5.8 km from Brussels Expo and 6.1 km from Atomium. I normally don’t give high ratings, but this property is worth it. Everything is so clean and spotless. The room has many little details to make you feel at home. The bed was very comfortable and allowed me rest and sleep well after a day of meetings. The breakfast was amazing and the have a lot for choice. I had to leave very early and my breakfast was prepared and delivered into the room regardless of the time. The hosts were very attentive and made sure my needs were met. These guys could teach a thing or two about hospitality to a lot of hotels. I will definitely come back again.

Offering a garden and garden view, B&B De Windheer is situated in Sint-Martens-Lennik, 18 km from Bruxelles-Midi and 19 km from Horta Museum. Exceptionally friendly staff and clean. Great location in the nature, bit close to Brussels. Due to a mixup at a car rental company I couldn’t get the car I reserved, so I used public transport to get there. In the evening, after asking the owner to order me a taxi to the event I was attending, she just drove me there herself!

Set in Londerzeel, 12 km from Technopolis Mechelen, Hotel Den Berg offers accommodation with a fitness centre, free private parking, a garden and a terrace. I don't know if the hotel is brand new or recently renovated, but it looks new and fresh. The design of the rooms is also very nice. Big room, big bathroom and a large terrace (in the summer time i suppose is nice to "waste" some time there). Also, the fitness room is equipped with everything that you need to maintain your fitness while away from home/usual training facilities. Breakfast and dinner absolutely delicious. Friendly staff. Also, they have a shuttle that can take you places (you need to discuss this upfront with them to check availability).

Guest house Time to Escape in Meise provides adults-only accommodation with pool with a view, an open-air bath and a garden. It is set 6.7 km from Brussels Expo and provides full-day security. I Like everything the owner very friendly and helpfull all the time

Featuring inner courtyard views, Wellness B&B De Zevenslaper offers accommodation with patio, around 24 km from Hasselt Market Square. It was clean and well appointed. The host was absolutely brilliant. I couldn’t fault the property or the service. We will return!
