We loved this gem of a find. In a quiet village with beautiful countryside. The rooms were modern, amazing and large and the bathroom equally as big and modern. We ate in the restaurant and the food was amazing, as well as the staff. The owner is the gem, what a wonderful lady and host who looked after us. Breakfast was also amazing with lots of lovely bread, croissants etc and meats and hams. We did not want to leave!

Situated in Les Rousses, 45 km from PalExpo, Domaine du Mont-Saint-Jean features accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a terrace and a restaurant. Excellent buffet breakfast, beautiful rooms, view over golf course was excellent. The staff, Thibault in particular went absolutely above and beyond to ensure we had a great trip despite some challenging transportation logistics. A great facility with exceptional staff!

Set in Ballaigues, 22 km from Saint-Point Lake, Hotel-Restaurant La Croix d’Or offers accommodation with a terrace, free private parking, a restaurant and a bar. Breakfast was excellent. A buffet with a choice of mueslis, fresh fruit, different breads, cheeses ham & salami not forgetting croissants etc. Everything was of a very good quality. The only negative for me was I was not too well the previous evening and was thus unable to try out the restaurant. Obviously a missed opportunity!. Staff couldn’t have been more helpful & friendly - a very well run small hotel

Gîte Chez Toinette features a garden and barbecue facilities in Saignelégier. Featuring free private parking, the 3-star bed and breakfast is 26 km from International Watch and Clock Museum. Everything! Toinette, the host is really the most friendly person I ever met on a holiday! Wonderful Gîte, loads of space and a seperate room for our racing bikes ! Wonderful location to cycle all the climbs in this wonderful region . Amazing good breakfast and quite place .

Chalet Calin - Business & Familles is a recently renovated apartment in Arzier, where guests can make the most of its garden and barbecue facilities. The location is excellent. 30 minutes outside Geneve in the direction of Lausanne. There are 3 bedrooms all with excellent beds and good quality bedding. The kitchen is very well equipped with all you require for a comfortable stay. There is a air fryer and microwave/ grill over, conduction hob and washing machine. Chris and Gioia provide a most welcome welcome pack with water, milk butter, bread and jam and a bottle of local wine. The toilet and shower room are separate which is useful for a family of 4, and there is a sauna in the shower room, which we used once and regretted not using more! The property also has a hot tub which is an awesome way to relax after a hard day's sight seeing. There is also another surprise in the property in the form of a table that converts into a pool table or table tennis table. This was also used to its full advantage. The Denner supermarket is 5 min walk away and has everything you need, meat and veg. milk etc. There was no need to go to another Supermarket but there are bigger supermarkets in Gland or Nyon which are both about 15 in away by car. There is a lovely boulerangerie 5 mins walk away as well for pastries and fresh bread. There is a pizza takeaway at the bottom of the road which makes delicious pizza. The other villages around have plenty of restaurants if you want to eat out. Prices are similar to Ireland for eating out and for groceries, remember to add the exchange rate. We used Revolut and bought CHF with no fees. The location is excellent for exploring the area around Lake Geneva. Chris and Gioia are excellent hosts, available for advice and ideas for things to do in the area. friendly and fun.
