It is a bit far from the city centre, but taxi ride to the city centre cost only a few thousands COP. The room was clean and offer all the basic amenities of a proper hotel. The front desk was polite and helpful if we had any questions or request. The breakfast was decent in size and tasty.

They use filtered water so no food poisoning and your foreign stomach can relax 🥰

Located just 39 km from La Cocha Lake, Hostal las margaritas provides accommodation in Pasto with access to a garden, barbecue facilities, as well as a shared kitchen. Everything was perfect. Jairo is a fantastic host and genuinely loves having guests to be around. The beds were so comfy and the big cosy blankets were a real treat. He also has a powerful boiler meaning the water is lovely and hot. This was a real treat after a long day riding through the mountains. Jairo also helped us find a shop that sold waterproof ponchos. The village is quiet and safe. There is a grocery store 2 mins walk away that is well stocked. The parking is secure behind a heavy duty gate and fence. Access is also very easy on a motorcycle.
