We loved the design with the wood beams. The bed was very comfortable. The maxi bar was a great idea. Only downside is that there was only one small window in the room. Luckily, it was not a super hot day as there is no ac or fan in the room. We would definitely stay here again, perhaps when it cools down. Also, dedicated bike garage to lock up your bikes with charging area for batteries. Breakfast was very good. The town is beautiful- highly recommend a visit!

Although the town is relatively isolated, the hotel and restaurant are well worth the slight detour. The staff are friendly and helpful, the food exceptional, and the overall atmosphere quiet and peaceful. The hotel is basically the town, but there are numerous walking paths around and it is easily accessible to the local sites. A totally wonderful stay.

This guesthouse is situated within the historic walls of Kloster Weltenburg, the oldest monastery in Bavaria. It lies in the Weltenburger Enge conservation area, near the romantic River Danube. Wonderful, peaceful, friendly sanctuary. Beautiful location on the bank of the river. Rooms are lovely and very clean. The restoration of the building is of very high quality with great attention to detail. Wifi is super fast. There are beautiful walks around the area, all the way to the neighbouring town Kelheim. There is even a ferryman who takes you to the other side of the river for 2 euros! Resturant has excellent food and is well priced in my opinion. There is a brewery in the monastery and the Barock Dunkel beer is particularly delicious. When coming back from my walk, a monk stopped and helped us with directions, very friendly and so nice. I originally booked two nights but ended up staying for three.

We traveled for work with my colleague. This hotel was an absolute pleasure and gift to stay at. We loved everything about this place: the location (accessible by car), the views, very sweet and friendly people working there, very relaxed feeling we had at this hotel and local wine!

Located in Berching, Engelwirt Hotel & Apartments features a garden, shared lounge, terrace, and free WiFi throughout the property. Certain rooms at the property include a balcony with a city view. This was one of my best stay. I have informed that we will arrive late, did the online check-in and when we arrived the keys were ready for us. Room condition was also really good, pretty and peaceful environment, and the kids also had some fub climbing up the stairs. I would like to visit again if I have a chance.

Stunning views of the castle, quiet, and extremely comfortable. We enjoyed dinner on the patio while watching the sunset over the castle - truly memorable.
