Set in Chugchilán, Hostal Doña Clarita Inn features accommodation with a public bath and an open-air bath. Great value. We had a two-level, two-bed room with dinner and breakfast for about $38. It was very clean and spacious. Nice common area with a stove to dry clothes and tea and banana bread and cookies. Good food. They were really helpful when we realized one of the dogs hanging around was actually owned by the owner of the hostel we stayed at in Sigchos. They took care of him until his owner showed up.

The rooms are big, the breakfast was outstanding. When they serve the dinner, everyone comes to the table and talks about the hike and their journey. Everything was perfect. Just book it!
