Situated in Latacunga, Hotel Maderanegra By Huasicama features a shared lounge. There is a terrace and guests can make use of free WiFi and free private parking. We had a major travel delay which we had to reschedule our night at the very last minute. The accommodation responded quickly and happily changed the day of the booking for us. The rooms are cute and although on a hill (we walked up) the view was nice in the evening.

The incredibly warm welcome of smiles and beautiful hospitality, along with a happy dog and cat, it felt like we were stepping into a home. It was the best and calmest place with A variety of teas, boiling water, drinking water, coffee, homemade cookies and banana bread upon arrival with the fire lit for us to get all cosy after our walk along the trail. Super friendly vibes, community dinner was exceptional and the vegan option was the best I’ve had in Ecuador. The views over the valley are beautiful and clear sky’s meant for tea under the stars in the evening :)

Situated in Lasso, Hostería Hotel Cuello de Luna - Cotopaxi - Country Inn features free WiFi, and guests can enjoy free bikes, a garden and a restaurant. We loved everything about this place, it was the best accommodation we had in our whole trip around Ecuador, from the location to the staff, the room, the surroundings, it was all absolutely lovely, can't recommend enough. We only stayed for one night, wish we could've stayed longer, it's a prefect place to relax.
