The location of this hotel is unbeatable. It sits high above Lake Nasser with beautiful panoramic views, and it’s only a two-minute ride to the Abu Simbel Temple entrance. The hotel even provides free golf buggies, which made visiting the temples so easy and relaxed. The staff were absolutely wonderful, friendly, welcoming, and always ready to help. From the moment we arrived, we felt genuinely looked after. Our room was spacious, spotless, and elegantly decorated ( we also got a free upgrade). The bed was extremely comfortable, and small touches like toweling robes, complimentary drinking water, and a turn-down service made it feel really special. Everything looked brand new. The covered seating area outside our room was a lovely place to sit and read while looking out over the lake, and at night we also sat out there viewing the night sky ( great place for star gazing). The infinity pool was another highlight – the perfect place to cool off and take in the incredible views across the lake. The restaurant chef came out to meet us personally and cooked a delicious evening meal, which was such a thoughtful touch. For breakfast, we ordered fresh omelettes, which went perfectly with the selection of pastries, breads, yogurt, honey, and coffee. Staying overnight rather than doing a day trip was by far the best decision we made. It gave us the chance to enjoy the temples peacefully after the day visitors had gone and to return at sunrise, which was an unforgettable experience

Facing the seafront in Aswan, Zena Toma Nubian Guest House features a private beach area and a garden. There is an on-site restaurant and free private parking. We stayed for two nights and had a great experience. The room was clean, the food was delicious, and the hosts were very kind and helpful. The location is peaceful, with a beautiful view of the Nile and birds singing in the morning – very relaxing. On the day we visited Abu Simbel, we had to leave early, and the hosts kindly offered to prepare a breakfast box for us to take. We really appreciated that gesture. Highly recommend this place for a calm and authentic stay in the Nubian village!

The outside was very ugly but the inside was very modern. I loved the TV and the wi-fi was AMAZING😁 plenty of space and beds. The view is amazing! Dislike: the owner can improve the cleaning.

We arrived early and was fortunate to receive a free room upgrade. We had a view of the river from our room window. We were near some shops and a pharmacy as well. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

Situated on Aswan’s highest hill, Hotel Basma offers unique views over the River Nile. It features a terraced garden and pool deck. The Nubian Museum is right across the property. My family enjoyed their stay at Basma Hotel and had a pleasant and relaxing time. The facilities are excellent and above all this the staff are friendly and welcoming. Shout out to Reham she was helpful in making last min changes in the rooms and extending the booking days.

Set in Abu Simbel, 1.4 km from Abu Simbel Temples, Sama Guest House offers accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a shared lounge and a terrace. The owner was absolutely adorable, and he took us across the lake to eat fresh fish cooked on the fire with his funny friends. We had an amazing time in Abu Simbel thanks to them. The hotel was also nice and very close to the temples (10min by foot).
