L'Auberge du Campos, a property with a shared lounge, is located in Saint-Pierre-Duchamp, 31 km from Pierre Cardinal Center, 31 km from Le Puy Cathedral, as well as 31 km from Saint-Michel d'Aiguilhe... L’Auberge du Campos was the most perfect place to stay on our travels through France. Stunning old school building has been beautifully restored and fitted out. The rooms are spacious with lovely views and very comfortable beds. Kitchen facilities fantastic and our host Sarah went out of her way to look after us, even preparing a delicious meal with local produce and wine on a night that the restaurant was not open. Sarah also gave us some great tips on local sights to see which we found to be perfect suggestions, including ruins of a chateau and nice villages to visit nearby. Highly recommend - you will not be disappointed. We will definitely come back when we visit France again!

Nice modern (small) pool & spa facilities. Dinner beautifully cooked and continental style breakfast nicely presented though my wife did have to provide her own gluten free bread, as agreed at time of booking.

We arrived 6 hrs after our designated time of arrival because of flooding, storms and detours amidst traffic chaos to a relaxed, happy and accommodating staff that made us feel at home. Boasting a garden and views of city, Château Besson is a bed and breakfast set in a historic building in Montluçon, 4.6 km from Athanor Centre de Congrès. Lovely little chateau, room was clean, good size and ideal for our overnight stay. Breakfast was excellent. Private parking.
