The Staff are sound, the food was great and the location is wonderful. The three of us travelled by bicycle from Oban. We will be back for sure. Go raibh maith agaibh go léir.

Located in Iona, Isle of Mull region, Martyrs Bay Rooms is situated 600 metres from Iona Abbey and Nunnery. Martyrs Bay Rooms is located very close to the Iona Ferry terminal, maybe two minutes walk. Excellent central location - just a 5 minute walk from the Abbey. Our room was spotless clean and quiet. However, the true highlight was the host Sandra herself - a genuinely kind and caring host (not "business" friendly as most are). And the breakfast, which was the best we saw in Scotland - with fresh fruit, the best scones ever and everything I could want.

Located in Pennyghael, 25 km from Iona Abbey and Nunnery, Inn at Port nan Gael provides accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a restaurant and a bar. The hotel features family rooms. Everything. Excellent place to stay. The staff were exceptional in changing rooms to accomodate my wife’s requirements. Dinner was very good with plenty of choices and generous servings.
