Located in Jakarta, 1 km from Museum Bank Indonesia, Holiday Inn & Suites Jakarta Gajah Mada by IHG provides accommodation with a fitness centre, free private parking, a garden and a shared lounge. Location is central, next to Chinatown and close to the originally Dutch old town (Kota Tua). Chinatown starts right at the back of the hotel and it is walkable to the central square of Kota Tua. We were upgraded to better rooms and they were really spacious and comfortable. Staff is very friendly and accomodating. The hotel seemed extremely clean and not particularly worn out. Sound proofing of windows is decent (we even stayed during Ramadan). Transportation to and from the airport is easy enough, price with the Bluebird taxi app only about 10 EUR.

It has a charm and character of old times while has all the amenities of modern times. Wonderful service, wonderful stay and wonderful people.

It is very convenient for lay overs at Yogyakarta International, efficient transfers to and from airport. Beautiful and modern design, many areas to relax. Great coffe at the coffee bar, and breakfast or room service. Cool pool :). Perfect for connections with super clean rooms, shampoo, conditioner, body lotion, tooth brush and paste, sewing kit, shoe polish..etc... BUT... for me the staff.. every department, so friendly and accommodating . They went out of their way to provide me me with wifi connection while there was a temporary wifi problem. You can be sure to be looked after. I stayed there twice and they will be always my choice of accommodation.  Thank you to all the beautiful staff of Grand Dafam Yogyakarta. Much much appreciated :)
