The quality for the price is superbe and you will be served if you look for adventure and nature. An immersive experience avoiding touristic places thanks to this accommodation that I deeply recommend. People that you meet is a big important of your travel and Grandma Guesthouse was. The plus : Yusuf, the owner, brought me to visit a school that he created for the village named "Kolibri", and it was one of my best experience meeting these kids in there environment and I'm not sure that I would have done that if I was in a popular hostel. Situated in Hilibotodane, a few steps from Sorake Beach, Dolin Cottage features accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a private beach area and a shared lounge. Dolin and his family are wonderful people. We instantly felt at home. The rooms are very nice, the view is insane and the food, especially the fishtaco's, are to die for. We recommend this place 100%!!!

Prime Plaza Kualanamu-Medan is set in Kampungbesar. This property also houses a restaurant, a fitness centre, a business centre and an outdoor pool with kids area. The hotel is near the airport. The staff are very friendly. The room was spacious, the bed comfortable and the shower hot. You do not hear any planes. We arrived late, and we used room service to get food, which was a great decision. Not expensive at all and the food was fresh and great. Breakfast was sumptuous with lots of local hot dishes. The pancake and egg station was amazing. I like it. The airport shuttle is also great. It's free and runs every 2 hours starting from 4 am.

Tailana Island Pulau Banyak has a garden, private beach area, a shared lounge and terrace in Alaban. The property features a bar, as well as a restaurant serving Asian cuisine. Lukas, Irawan and staff gave our family a very personalized, fun and accommodating experience in an already magical island. White sand beach with crystal clear, warm waters housing schools of fish and coral for snorkeling at the shoreline. I loved the homecooked meals - local foods, fish and taste. They created a special lobster candlelight dinner on sunset beach for Father's Day, played games/soccer with the kids, homemade stone oven pizza one night, movie night on the beach, a trip to explore a hidden jungle cave (magical!), learning tour of a local clinic and village tour ending in karaoke. Very few mosquitos. +Wifi- good. We were able to fully unplug & extended our stay to 5 nights.
