We had an amazing 8-night stay at Rajhat Marano House, and it truly exceeded our expectations in every way. From the seamless pre-arrival arrangements to the warm hospitality throughout our stay, everything was well taken care of. Pre-Arrival & Check-in: The host helped arrange our airport transfer and transportation for two days of excursions, making our trip hassle-free from the start. Accommodation & Facilities: Our room was excellent—sparkling clean, well-maintained, and equipped with both AC and a fan, an attached bathroom, and all the basic amenities we needed. Accessibility was a plus, with an elevator available to reach our floor. Location & Surroundings: Rajhat Marano House is located in a peaceful neighborhood, yet it is conveniently close to everything. The Maha Bodhi Temple is less than 200m away (a 5-minute walk via the Bodhgaya Gov Hospital shortcut, accessible from 5 AM to 9 PM). Plenty of eateries—including cafes, food stalls, restaurants, and bakeries—are within the same walking distance, making it easy to explore the locals. Hospitality: The host was incredibly attentive and helpful with all our requests, making us feel right at home. What made our stay even more special was the host’s warm accommodation of our interest in local delicacies, which led us to privately name our favorite food gathering spot as “Osama Kitchen.” The highlight of every meal? A humble yet comforting cup of chai, never failing to delight us! Overall, Rajhat Marano House provided a wonderful stay with top-notch hospitality, great location, and excellent accommodations. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Bodhgaya!

Located in Bodh Gaya, 2.1 km from Mahabodhi Temple, Tara Guest House provides accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a terrace and a restaurant. We had an amazing stay here, the staff was very friendly and the project that they are supporting with over 700 students to change their local community is inspiring. We left inspired by the children who have been given an opportunity due to the amazing work of the staff here. It was very nice to see and speak with the children during our stay. Two big thumbs up. Additionally, the took great care of us to help organize tours, help us send a package with the India Post, and organize other sightseeing during our stay. We will stay there again and I recommend it to anyone who wants to have a local authentic experience with people making a true change in their community.

Set in Bodh Gaya, 700 metres from Mahabodhi Temple, Hyatt Place Bodh Gaya offers accommodation with a fitness centre, free private parking, a shared lounge and a restaurant. Excellent property at very calm location and well managed with Hyatt’s highly trained staff. Food was awesome and each staff at the property were taking personal care of the guest and Hyatt’s hospitality was clearly visible. Happy to see such properties in India. Our three nights stay will remain always in our travel memories.

Very helpful and nice staff. Room was properly maintain this highest standard of hygiene and cleaning. Football shirt on time and had a very good and authentic test. This is best hotel in Bodhgaya recommended for solo travelers and business travels.
