The family running this hotel is extraordinary helpful and nice. You truly feel at home with fresh baked cakes and a pleasant conversation. The proximity to the slopes is also a massive advantage - you go through the back door and down to the lift which is about 30m from the back door We had a few issues with the ski pass and skis, they helped us out every time. Even took their time to walk with us to tourism information to sort out our ski pass confusion as tourism information staff were not very fluent in English. Cannot recommend the place enough

Surrounded by the Alps, in the heart of the Via Lattea ski area, Hotel K2 is a 3-star hotel in Sauze d’Oulx. Free WiFi is available throughout. I travelled with a group of 10 who were staying in the Hotel Torre but due to a medical reason I needed to be more local to the center and chairlifts. The K2 was perfect for this, albeit there is still a steep climb to the Clotes lift. The ski bus stops directly outside if you want to go to the Sportinia lift and the hotel does have a secure boot room if required. The bar area was great, the whole group used it everyday after skiing and a few nights after our dinner. Prices are reasonable and regularly given free small baskets of selected canapes and crisps. Reception, breakfast room and bar staff were great and very friendly.
