An 18th-century stone house with swimming pool, Il Nido nella Bionda features rustic rooms with wood-beamed ceilings and some with stone walls. It was a very cozy and peaceful environment. Very clean and well taken care of. The owner was also very kind and accommodating. My daughter had left a few clothing items as well and he went out of his way to ship them back to us. It was a wonderful stay and we definitely recommend booking.

Cà Gianca, a property with barbecue facilities, is set in Riccò del Golfo di Spezia, 8.2 km from Technical Naval Museum, 10 km from Amedeo Lia Museum, as well as 7.2 km from La Spezia Centrale Train... Very comfortable, quiet place. The location is remote, but paradise. However, La Spezia can be reached by car in 15 minutes, so it is good for a base for visiting the places around (including Cinque Terre). Bathroom is very spaceous.

We had such a lovely time staying with Benito and Sandra - they are kind and attentive hosts, and helped us out big time when we lost our car keys. The place is clean and quiet. It's a little removed from the city - but you can travel by bus into La Spezia, or it's also fine if you have a car. I would definitely stay again and would recommend it if you'd like an experience staying with kind, local people, VS a busier touristy place.
