Situated in Kanazawa and within 700 metres of Kanazawa Castle, Tokyu Stay Kanazawa has a shared lounge, non-smoking rooms, and free WiFi throughout the property. Room is very spacious, comes with its own washing machine and other appliances to dry clothes and shoes. The hotel staff was super helpful. Breakfast is great. Location is very convenient for moving around and you can walk to the market for food, plus some nearby convenience stores. The town overall it’s so beautiful and all people is just lovely.

The staff were very courteous and helpful. Kudos to them for that. The room was good and had a separate toilet and bath area which can be useful at times. The location is close to the station. And also kept our luggage with them even after checking out while we were out on a day trip. They also had a welcome drink which was a nice gesture. Overall it was a great stay and I would stay again.

Amazing experience of a traditional ryokan. The staff was excellent, kind and helpful at all times, rooms were clean and tidy, ours had an amazing view of the lake. You can use most of the facilities for free with some additional ones having a fee. We chose the included dinner and breakfast option, dinner was an amazing experience full of flavors and textures we were not used but definitely liked. Breakfast was pretty good, buffet style, but with both Japanese and western options. In terms of location, I think it’s really good depending on what you want to visit. It is just in front of the lake, and has the red line (i think) bus stop right in front of it, which we used to get there from the train station and to get to other tourist spots around the lake. There’s a lawson just outside, the boat ride in the lake and the panoramic ropeway are also just a few minutes walk away which was very convenient.
