Located in the centre of Hiroshima, 600 metres from Hiroshima Peace Memorial Park, GRAND BASE Hiroshima Peace Memorial Park provides air-conditioned rooms and free WiFi. Room was clean, spacious. We ran into a staff member during check in who went above and beyond. She was kind, showed us how to work appliances in our room and provided recommendations for our stay.

The room was huge and you could adjust the light intensity. The bed was comfortable and adjustable by height etc. The bathtub was spacious and the shower room is Japanese style. I liked that the shower head had a button to start and stop the water. The toilet is very modern even by Japanese standards.
