We also went fishing with Manu. Breakfast is plentiful and good. The rooms were very clean. The location is excellent since it is close to the centre but in a quiet area. And it is also very close to the beach. I highly recommend the place.

The hotel is amazing. Hotel as a building seems to cooperate with nature, is surrounded by beautiful trees, lake, animals! Personel is really helpful, always smiling. We visited 4 hotels during our Sri Lanka Trip and that one was the best. If you consider safari in Yala just take that hotel and my recommendation is stay at least 4 nights. Belize me you will rest and relax like never before :) We had half board types, both breakfast and dinners were excellent!

Attention to detail was spot on which is rare in this part of the world. True architectural masterpiece. From rounded entrance gate, windows, private breakfast nook and private garden for all 4 houses. Owner/ host was the one that stood out!

The room was very nice and Don was very friendly. He dropped us off and picked us up in weligama. He also gave the honest advice not to go the the Safari in Yala which we intended to go to due to large crowds, which was very appreciated by us.

Located in Tangalle, 600 metres from Marakkalagoda Beach, Coco Tangalla provides accommodation with an outdoor swimming pool, free private parking, a garden and a private beach area. Wish I had stayed longer here. I took so many pics of the interior and it will be how I style my future. I loved it here. The staff were friendly and the grilled prawns were the nicest I’ve had in a very long time. Absolutely beautiful food. The pool is great for a didn’t staring out at the ocean. My favourite place I stayed in Sri Lanka and I’m coming to the end of my trip. The town has such charm too when you walk along the beach. It’s very much worth the visit here!! Thank you for a great stay.

Situated in Tissamaharama, 4.5 km from Tissa Wewa, LakeSide Cabana Tissamaharama features accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a shared lounge and a terrace. One of our favorite place in Sri Lanka. When arrived, we stayed two hours looking at all the animals and the birds by the lake, the sunset was beautiful. The little cabanas are so cute and nothing was missing. Finally, the whole family is so welcoming, we really enjoyed the dinner and the time spent with them.

Situated 2.9 km from Tissa Wewa, New Vilard offers a garden, and air-conditioned accommodation with a terrace and free WiFi. The Host an his family were super nice and welcomed us with tea and coffee. The room had a well working AC, hot water and a mosquito net. The included breakfast was good and they even habe us a lunchpaket when we had to leave at 5 am in the morning for the safari. The Host offers a safari himself. In the evening they cooked very much and delicious food on our request. If you are planning to go on safari in the Yala Nationalpark, i would definitely recommend to stay here.

The perfect place for everyone seeking to stay in Tangalle. Beautiful hotel right on the beach and surrounded by palm trees. Originally we booked a standard room but we got upgraded to the pent house suite, which was the most beautiful tree house and was a very pleasant surprise. The staff is as wonderful as the food and drinks here. Especially the breakfast was genius, as you could order what you’d like to eat and every day you would get a different local surprise dish additionally. I can just deeply recommend to stay at this wonderful little oasis.
