Situated in Weerawila, 7.4 km from Tissa Wewa, DoubleTree by Hilton Weerawila Rajawarna Resort features accommodation with an outdoor swimming pool, free private parking, a fitness centre and a... The hotel is amazing. Hotel as a building seems to cooperate with nature, is surrounded by beautiful trees, lake, animals! Personel is really helpful, always smiling. We visited 4 hotels during our Sri Lanka Trip and that one was the best. If you consider safari in Yala just take that hotel and my recommendation is stay at least 4 nights. Belize me you will rest and relax like never before :) We had half board types, both breakfast and dinners were excellent!

It's one of the great location unique landscape and friendly staff I appreciate this beautiful Villa for multiple times one of My Favourite in Kataragama

With pool views, Tranquil Wild is located in Tanamalwila and has a restaurant, room service, snack bar, garden, year-round outdoor pool and terrace. The staff is wonderful. During our entire trip through Sri Lanka we haven't met any nicer people than here. Moreover, the food they offer you will not only fulfill your taste buds, it will also fill you for days to come. Lastly, they are in a brilliant location to provide safaris to Yala and are great at finding animals and explaining around the whole ecosystem.

Set in Tissamaharama, 2.5 km from Tissa Wewa, Nehansa Resort and safari offers accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a shared lounge and a terrace. This was by far the cleanest accommodation we had on our trip to Sri Lanka so far. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The food was also very good.

Situated in Tissamaharama, 4.5 km from Tissa Wewa, LakeSide Cabana Tissamaharama features accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a shared lounge and a terrace. The stay was excellent. The owners were amazing, friendly and helpful. The food was amazing. They served various dishes of local food, but if you like other food, they can provide it too. They are happy to lend you other stuff, such as their bike to ride around, if available. They are also happy to take you on adventure journeys such as going to the jungle farm, having you participated in activities and a walk in the jungle for free. The environment around the rooms was so calm and there was a lot of nature around. Lots of tropical trees and birds. There was a nice lake at the property. There were lots of aquatic wildlife around it. If you are a nature lover, this is the place to stay. The place is close to “Yala national park” and you can get in the safari vehicle at the hotel itself so that you don’t have to take a separate ride to the park.

Set within 2.2 km of Tissa Wewa and 27 km of Bundala Bird Sanctuary in Tissamaharama, Amazon Cabanas provides accommodation with seating area. This is the best place we have stayed so far in Sri Lanka! The couple who own it are so friendly and helpful. They welcomed us with a delicious passionfruit juice which we could enjoy in the beautiful garden. It’s so peaceful here, and you can see peacocks and varan lizards roaming around. The cabana is really nice and comfortable. The bed is comfy and the AC works. The bathroom was very spacious and everything was clean. There is even a fridge in the room which was handy. We also did our safari through them and Gayan was an amazing and very knowledgeable guide! Breakfast is also great. If we ever return to Sri Lanka we will definitely come back here!

Offering a restaurant and free bikes, MOON LIGHT Guest House is located just 1.1 km from the Tissamaharama Bus Station and 3.2 km from the beautiful Tissa Lake. The property is a little out of town, with beautiful views of the rice fields, in a quiet location. The owner offered to pick us up and drop us off from town for free, gave us a tour of the area, and was super helpful in every way. We ate two delicious evening meals at the guest house, and organised the safari through them too. Highly recommended
