We loved the natural spring hot pots too. The retreat was exceptionnal as well as unique.

Boasting air-conditioned accommodation with a plunge pool, mountain view and a balcony, Japan Comfort Lifestyle Hokkaido is situated in Ipoh. We stayed for 6 nights at this wonderful Japanese themed homestay. The space is newly renovated with a great view of the mountains. It was extremely clean, the kitchen had everything needed for cooking and the common area was large with comfortable furniture. Nelson was a fantastic host and really made us feel welcome. He made suggestions based on things we were interested in, took us to cave temples, a lovely waterfall and some of his favourite food spots. The bedroom and private bathroom were a good size and the bed was very comfortable. An added bonus if you like watching movies is the projector and sound system you can use, one in the bedroom and a bigger one in the living room. Totally recommend this place.
