The Owner or Manager was also very helpful with organizing trips or information. Food we also can recommend. At the Looby or the Roof Top Restaurant...the male staff was amazing friendly and served us like kings..thanks to ALL of them. Offering a restaurant, Hotel Yambu kathmandu is located in Kathmandu. Free Wi-Fi access is available. Rooms have an electric kettle. Private bathrooms also come with a shower. We had a great stay here (so much that we've stayed again after our trek!). The smaller rooms are quite small for 2 people, so we opted for the bigger room the second time around (this review is the first time). The best thing about this hotel is the staff. I can't thank them enough!! They've made us feel so at home and are always ready to help. The complimentary breakfast has been great too. When we were leaving early in the morning for our hike, they let us have breakfast even earlier than they usually serve it. The location is wonderful, centrally located but just away from the main roads so generally much quieter. We also availed of the complimentary airport transfer which was super helpful on arriving to Kathmandu.
