This has ticked all the boxes. Yes it's pricey no doubt but I still gave the best rating for value for money because it was remarkable. The staff are so attentive and nice. Clark in the restaurant for dinner was super professional ( I am a executive sous chef) so I know the trade, the dinner and breakfast buffet are the best what I have seen so far in many years living in the visayas. Room was remarkable with stunning view. Hotel is very near the sm seaside . What else do you want :) Thank you and see you soon!

We really enjoyed our stay here. The room was clean, spacious, well-equipped, and felt freshly renovated. We had a sea view, which we absolutely loved. Breakfast was excellent, despite going late each morning, nothing felt picked over and the variety was impressive, with fresh and tasty options including meats, fruits, and local dishes. The hotel has three restaurants, and the food in all of them was delicious, especially the traditional Filipino cuisine at The Grounds. The beach area is small, but it wasn’t crowded during our stay, so we had a great time. You can borrow coral shoes for free and rent snorkeling gear, which was a nice bonus. We also visited The Spa and really enjoyed the massage. For the price, no other Mactan hotel we considered came close in terms of service and facilities.

The staff was super friendly and helpful. This was not our first stay at AJ’s Place and it won’t be our last.

Design of swimming pool, dining area, room and balcony, food quality and attention given by staff were wonderful. Maintenance of the two adjacent rooms including the air conditioners and bathrooms were different but good enough for our 3 nights’ stay. I appreciate how the new balcony lock design ensured higher security.
