It was peaceful while providing gorgeous views overlooking the water. I especially loved the Church on the hilltop. My mother just passed away recently, so the Chapel was of great comfort to me. Our suite was also extremely comfortable. Felt like heaven, and having the balcony with the beautiful nature surrounding it helped me when I wanted to just spend time alone. The all day room service was great.

Location was kept in traditional Philippines pacific style which is so much better than a giant concrete monolith planted in a beautiful natural part of the world. Only 45 minutes by private boat is very commutable. Food was excellent and catered for everyone. All the facilities were constantly being cleaned and maintained to postcard status 24/7 Happy hour everyday and 50% off all drinks for a further hour daily . No request was too hard for the exceptional staff . Great value for money .

Situated 500 metres from People's Park, The Bourke Hotel offers 3-star accommodation in Davao City and has a terrace, a restaurant and a bar. Location is a 10! It is very quiet. I slept like I was at home - an indication of how comfortable it was for me. The breakfast was EXCELLENT! I was with my senior parents, and they offered to have their breakfast served in their room so that they don't have to walk to the cafe. All of the staff are great. I am surprised I have not heard of this hotel before. We were supposed to stay at a family room, however, it was under renovation. They booked us to 2 rooms instead, at a much lower price. Customer service of this hotel is excellent!
