Bettmeralp is such an idyllic village - there are no cars here and the only sound you can hear are the cows ringing their bells. We got great advice about hiking routes and when we asked in the restaurant for some hot water for tea, they gave us a whole thermos so we could drink tea in our room. The room itself was very charming with a beautiful view from the balcony. We ate dinner at the restaurant, which was also great!
