We felt like we were at home. The place is charline, the view from the Lodge marvelous. You have a panoramic view on Turrialba and irazu volcanos. The lodge is simply confortable, the dinner very good served in a common room. The breakfast is continental, according to travelers choice whose doesn't want to eat rice one more Time! The accommodation is outstanding with a wonderful Tica vibe (we stayed in the Toucan Cottage). The bed and shower are really good, with a small efficiency kitchen for those interested in a longer stay. The hotel itself is also nice, rooms are big, the staff is super friendly. Anyhow the place gives the impression that it has seen better times which is a pity because of its beauty. A little bit of refurbishment would do very well. Especially when you consider that it is at the upper price end for accommodation in Costa Rica.
