The free yukata use was a nice touch, as was the availability of free drinks and ice lollies. We also used the hotel shuttle to the train station, and the hotel boat to Miyajima. The views of Miyajima from the hotel were great, though if you're staying on the mountain view side of the hotel you may see more car park than mountain. And the price was quite cheap so we expected something small and dinky but it was way better than expected. The room was heaps nicer than the photos showed, and the self check in was incredibly easy. The bathroom was actually a really good size for a hotel especially compared to other places we’ve stayed in the past weeks. The price is nothing compared to accommodation options on the island, and the hostel is literally just 3 minutes away from the port.
