The owner picked us up from the station and even drove us to a supermarket to get some food, as the house is in a residential area, without restaurants or convenience stores nearby. The house is very nice! It’s an old house, but renovated. If you are tall, mind the low doors. The house is not in the city center, but you can go around by the bicycles the owner rents for free.

The staff were friendly and accommodating, and it easy to communicate with them. The ladies that presented the food at dinner were exceptional, explaining each dish in detail, and even assisted in frying the meats perfectly. An overall amazing experience

Was very good all around with everything taken care off. You have plenty off amenities in a beautiful location with amazing staff. It had a shuttle from the train station and everything was convenient. The place and onsets are beautiful and the food was great.

just a really nice hotel with really nice staff at the desk, varied breakfast buffet every day and just a ten minutes walk to Tehara station. I found it a great place for my daily trips to Kyoto, but i travel light, maybe with a lot of suitcases it's less easy.
