We spent two nights here. The room was huge and the bed was super comfortable. The food was also very tasty. We had dinner both nights and it didn't disappoint. Staff were super friendly and attentive. This was one of our best accommodations in Sri Lanka. It was a little far from the sights, but everything was a short tug tug ride away. We would highly recommend this place.

A great find on our trip. Extremely kind and friendly hosts. Food was delicious..we had an evening meal..was lovely. Breakfast was amazing. A great family run business. And you are within easy reach of all the lovely sacred sites of Anuradhapura. Any questions were answered.100 percent recommend. A great young waiter too who shared his home grown bannanas. The place is absolutely wonderful, the staff is lovely and they make you feel at home. If you want to do excursions like a tour in the ancient city or a safari: they will arrange it and they make sure you have everything you’ll need. The chef also makes delicious meals. Maho was our best stay in Sri Lanka within 4 weeks. Large rooms, great sanitairy, and a lovely bed with pillows feeling like clouds.

Fantastic place with the best staff. It was our 10 year wedding anniversary and the chef (Ajit Wasantha) prepared a special table and made wonderful 4 course meal for us and surprised us by making it a romantic dinner even with a cake written "Anniversary 10 years"! It was magical and the staff were all lovely and very accommodating. Especially Sameera, Sunandesh they're really nice and speak good English too! Breafast is amazing. The villa is beautiful we had the best time there, highly recommended!

This place is perfect for backpackers, close to the bus station and to the archeological site, there are some places for eating 5min walking. This place by itself is really pretty, chill, quiet, and clean. There is a little kitchen, good wifi, good beds. You can even rent a bike ! As a solo female traveler I felt really safe and the owners were really nice to me, I loved my stay ! Thank you so much again guys, hope to see you again !

This hotel is the most beautiful hotel I have ever stayed in. Interior design is very stylish and has several personal touches which the lovely owners will walk you through. Everything was very clean and functioning. Food is cooked to your liking and served on time. Throughout the stay the staff is attentive and service is excellent. We like to chitchat a bit, and the staff has perfect English skills. Few rooms available, so it feels like renting an entire luxurious villa for yourself. Even if not planning to go to Anuradhapura, I would go simply to enjoy this hotel. (If you can even call it a hotel. Feels like being invited into a celebrity’s private mansion!).

Quiet residential street, big room, comfortable beds, very clean, screens on the windows, nice hot shower with great pressure. No breakfast or restaurant onsite. We were very happy with the supper and breakfast at Seedevi Family Restaurant, located just around the corner on the main road.

Of all the places we stayed in Sri Lanka, this is the one that stays with us. The knowledge, helpfulness and generosity of spirit of the family running the place made it exceptional. We felt very much at home and learned at lot about Sri Lankan society. The travel advice and conscientious vetting of tuktuk-drivers and guides recommended to us was valuable and another examle of the ambition of the host family to give the guests the best possible experience. The food was great. So was the location in a quiet neighbourhood within easy walking distance to the lake and the city. We also enjoyed lots of laughs and were impressed with the hostess teaching students in the yard some afternoons. Brilliant place!
