Chatau and his family are incredible hosts. We arrived on Christmas Eve and were invited to a Christmas dinner that they prepared for the whole hotel. He helped us during the week we stayed there with everything from renting scooter to surf lessons for a good price. He is genuinely interested and wants you to have a good stay. Even though the accommodation is quite close to the busy road we couldn’t hear it from our room. The accommodation is also very clean, spacious and totally worth the money. Would definitely stay here again if going to Midigama. Thanks again for everything!

This was by far the best place we have stayed in Sri Lanka. Rooms were amazing. Everything worked perfectly. The property is very quiet and peaceful. The host goes out of her way to make sure everything is perfect. Breakfast was delicious too.

We had the most amazing experience at this homestay! From the moment we arrived, making us feel completely at home. Their warmth and care were beyond what we could have hoped for. Beautiful light new and well maintained rooms. Very very clean. Calm green surroundings but not far from restaurants and the beach. 5-10 minutes. The family is incredibly welcoming and lovely. They also own the general store right next to the place which is convenient. I planned to stay for some days but ended up staying for over a month. Definitely recommend!

Very nice house with a stunning garden. Everything is brand new and the host is very polite. All amenities were explained to us and a scooter was available, which we then rented. Nothing is left to be desired here!!! For breakfast there was a delicious fruit salad with yoghurt and coffee at our request. We particularly liked the fact that we had a garden where we could spend our time without noise and spectators and it really is a maximum of 4 minutes walk to the surf spot!!! An absolute insider tip... the best experience on our entire Sri Lanka tour.

Villa 4C was the ideal place to unwind and recharge. The accommodations were clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. The kitchen was a great bonus, allowing us to prepare our own meals and very tasty breakfast they gave to us. The owner was incredibly helpful and friendly, providing valuable tips and recommendations. The location was fantastic, with easy access to the beach. Overall, it was a wonderful stay, and we highly recommend Villa 4C to anyone visiting Midigama.

This is a great place if you search for a comfortable stay in Midigama especially if you are into surfing. The dorm rooms are comfortable with wide bunk beds and lockers, there is a fully equipped kitchen with a fridge, a corner for yoga, a cozy chill area and also a surfboard rack. The food is super delicious and the staff was so welcoming. From getting a scooter to find the best waves Max is super friendly and helps you with every issue.

The room seems very new and is very well equipped with a fan, table, chairs and a balcony. There is also a kitchen as well as a fridge which was nice. The stay is just a 5min walk from the beach and all the shop, yet you still have it very peacefull and quiet here. The host is super friendly and helpful, I would definitely come back.

My stay was absolutely amazing!! It was incredibly comfortable; spacious room and hot shower. The hosts were so kind and helpful and helped me so much with storing my suitcase! Close to the beach where you can drink a coconut during sunset, to the Midigama surf spots and the nearby villages

Everything was tidy and comfortable. The place was right across the street from the beach and an easy walk to many surf spots. The hosts were so kind! They made us coffee each morning and we enjoyed a homemade dinner from them each night for a very good price. I would recommend anyone to stay here if you’re looking for a spot in Midigama.

    The location in Midigama is perfect, short walk to the beach, train station, bus stop and main road but far enough away to avoid the noise. All conversations are via whats app and any questions or requests were answered straight away. The owners are so sweet and really try to make your stay special, a welcoming drink, dropping by with fresh fruit and helping us find a driver to our next accommodation, very much appreciated. If you need a place to stay in Midigama, Coffee Shade is a great choice!

    We spent two weeks here, and it was one of the best accommodation during a month long sri lanka trip. It is an ideal location if you want to be away from the noise but close to the surf locations such as Weligama or Ahangama. Reasonable price, rooms are clean, breakfast is good, there was always someone around if anything was needed (laundry , scooter rental or airport pickup) The host was responsive, the family running the place were super kind and helpful. Highly recommend to stay here! :)
