On our first day we did a little walk to the Nationalpark by foot and discovered the near by Lake. There is not much to Do arround but we enjoyed this quiete stay. When its dark you hear and See the nature arround. With moskito spray its a awesome experience. Hashan was Our service, Our tuktuk driver and Took us to Safari, which was beautyful. Hashan and his wife made excellent Sri Lankan food for us which we really enjoyed. The family are lovely... So helpful. The food was simple but excellent, with the addition of trays of tea produced when we got up and again at tea time. This stay was truly the highlight of our 3 week trip. They arranged a full day safari for us in Wilpattu National Park... And yes, we saw leopards!
