Waipu has one of the most perfect long beaches in Northland. Some will disagree but it a great place. The Cabins are right on the beach and perfect for evening walks or summer swims, or surf. The 1 bedroom (cosy) unit we stayed in had a nice little outdoor patio / garden to sit in although we were next to the road which, being holiday season, was rather busy.
