Peaceful, safe and calm neighborhood. As we stayed with the owner's family, we could share a lot, and it was a wonderful memory to be with them. Tho is also a mother of teenagers, so I really enjoyed talking with her as a mother. They kindly lend us some tools and give us something nice. Thanks to their kindness, we could overcome some inconveniences. She taught us Japanese stores in their neighborhood. As I really wanted to experience real local lives in the US, it was perfect for me and I could learn a lot. If we had been staying at a hotel, we wouldn't never have had such a special friendship and comfort. As we get used to cook in our own country and we wanted to follow healthy diet and save money, it was nice for us to cook at their house instead of going to restaurants so often. One of us could play the piano freely at the house, which was also great.

    My 2 night at Crowne Plaza Costa Mesa was outstanding. Great front desk staff, clean, quiet and comfortable well furnished room. Excellent location and very reasonable room rates. Whenever I return to Costa Mesa, Crowne Plaza Costa Mesa will be my first choice for accommodations.

    What we liked most was the fact that we left and never have to return. Since we left…disputing the charges for failing to provide suitable accommodations as advertised. I know know what people mean when they talk about meeting someone from online and them not looking anything like their picture. Maybe we were placed in “special” rooms as implied based on our complexions/race. Guess we will never know for sure even though their choice of words used during our attempted check in made it very clear we were not welcomed.
