The food was some of the best I’ve had in Albania. The room and bathroom were spotlessly clean and very comfortable. They were incredibly helpful, especially guiding me through the logistics for the Valbonë to Theth hike, which I had planned for the next morning. And the view from the terrace? Unbelievable! Surrounded by stunning mountains, it was incredibly serene. I genuinely regret not booking a longer stay. I’ll absolutely be coming back – next time for more than just one night. It’s a short car ride to the end of the road before hiking trails starts. It’s very new and modern while kept rustic.

Everything! Starting from the hosts who were extremely kind, they made sure that we were content and confortable. They were very friendly and generous at anytime. The room was very clean, the view was spectacular, above all the breakfast was absolutely amazing. It had a variety of traditional Albanian food, everything was fresh. It is very cosy and better then what I expected. I felt like a king. Thanks a lot to the family, I will come here anytime when near Valbona ! Truly exceptionnal. It is a 10++++ !

With tourism sure to boom here shortly, it’s so amazing my to see NeoKulla - a long standing traditional guesthouse surviving and modernizing while still keeping Albanian flare at its core of the stay. I’d stay here again a million times over. Food is amazing; staff and owner superb. STAY HERE! Support local. Location was perfect after hike over the pass, and if you are planning to summit rosni peak- it’s ideally situated beside the road to the trail head.

A continental breakfast is available at the guest house. the host is super welcoming and helped us plan the next steps of our trip. I recommend eating at their restaurant (dinner and breakfast) which was great too. The guesthouse is a quiet place in the valley and the room was nice compared with what we experienced in albania, it was clean and the bed was good.
